Jewellery Terms and Conditions
By agreeing to our terms and conditions you’re agreeing to the following…
- All items that are made from silver may tarnish over time, this can happen more quickly during summer months due to the increase in humidity, suncreams, moisturisers and perspiration. Tarnish can be removed using a silver polish cloth. Items that tarnish are not faulty therefore no refunds or exchanges will be given.
- All items of jewellery are made by hand therefore colours may vary depending on the setting type and the inclusions that are being cast. For example hair colours will reflect the light and colours in different ways. Ashes are all different colours and consistency which can affect the overall appearance of the finished item. Grey, White and Blonde hair/fur may turn translucent when placed within resin. Please contact us to discuss your order if you are unsure if your inclusion will show.
- Each item is made by hand so no two pieces will look exactly the same, small bubbles are possible although we do have procedures in place to minimise them, hair may be in a different layout depending setting style and hair type, colours may appear different due to monitor differences.
- You’re accepting full responsibility for posting your inclusions to us therefore you accept that if for any reason your inclusion should go missing before it reaches us then Keepsakes by Bernadette cannot be held liable in anyway.
- The name and address used to order will be the address that is used to ship your item, if for any reason you need to change the delivery address, you will need to contact us with your full name, address and order number with your required shipping address. If parcels are delivered to the wrong address which has been provided on the order form then Keepsakes by Bernadette will not accept liability for missing or damaged items.
- After placing your order you will have 48 hours to make us aware of any changes that need to be made for example ring sizes or necklace lengths, after this time your items will have been ordered from our manufacturer therefore we will be unable to make changes to your order. Please make sure you’re ordering the correct sizes and styles before confirming your order.
- If you damage your item of jewellery we will try our best to help you but we are not obliged to repair or replace the item free of charge. We provide care instructions with each item of jewellery which must be followed to prevent any damage. Hand sanitizer will result in your item becoming cloudy, we can fix this issue but we are not obliged to repair items for free when our care instructions have not been followed.
- Inclusions must be posted to us within 4 weeks from ordering your item of jewellery, after this time we may not be able to complete your order for various reasons. If we do not receive your inclusions we will contact you via email once to request that your inclusions are sent to us. Refunds will not be given if you do not send us your inclusions so please make sure you are certain about ordering before making a purchase.
- We given an estimated turn around time of 4-6 weeks from receiving your inclusion or prints, this can vary from time to time but we try our best to stay within our time frames.
- Model offer items will be used for advertising, photos of the finished product will be used across the website and social media pages, please only purchase model offer items if you’re happy for your items to be used for this purpose.
- Our handmade jewellery is made from 99.9% silver which means it will need to be handled with special care, if worn daily the silver may start to show signs of wear and the prints may fade over time.

3D casting Terms and Conditions
By agreeing to our terms and conditions you’re agreeing to the following…
- We operate on a booking only system which allows us enough time to carry out your casting session and thoroughly clean and sanitise our equipment and work surfaces between appointments. Unfortunately if you’re more than 10 minutes late for your appointment we may not be able to carry out the casting session.
- A £50 non refundable deposit must be made before booking your appointment with the remaining balance due the day of your casting session. We will reschedule your appointment once as long as you have given 48 hours notice. If you reschedule more than once then you will lose your deposit and a new booking deposit will be required to rebook with us. If you do not attend your appointment you will lose your booking desposit and a new booking desposit will be required to rebook with us.
- The remaining balance will be due at the casting appointment, if the remaining balance has not been received at the casting session then no work will be carried out on your castings until the full balance has been paid. The turnaround time will then restart from the time that the remaining balance has been paid.
- If you’re unable to pay the full balance at the time your appointment please contact us.
- 3D baby castings usually take approximately 10 – 12 weeks to complete, handclasp statues take approximately 14 weeks depending on the size of the sculpture. Once your order is complete we will contact you to arrange collection. These are approximate time frames and can vary depending on all sorts of reasons eg frames being custom made, drying times, school holidays etc
- Any damage to frames or plinths must be reported to us within 48 hours of collecting your item.
- Photographs of the finished casts and frames will be used to advertise across our website and social media pages. This includes the photo option frames with photographs attached and engraved plaques. If you would not like photographs of your items used for advertising please contact us to let us know.
- You must not attend your casting session if you or anyone in your household are feeling unwell.
